Daily Schedule
An Example of a Day at LSA
We understand the importance of maintaining a fairly consistent schedule for the health and emotional well-being of your child. The following schedule is a sample of what a class might use on a daily basis. Please note that changes to the typical schedule may occur on special days surrounding holidays and training days.
7:30-8:00 a.m. Student Drop Off
All students must enter the classroom unaccompanied by parents or other non-enrolled siblings.
8:15-8:30 Group welcome time which will include the following: Pledge of Allegiance/National Anthem, monthly poetry recitation, and/or morning Grace and Courtesy lesson.
8:30-11:30 Morning work session which will include: Individual academic work choices, outdoor classroom lessons, music and art.
*New this year we will be implementing 15 minute outdoor breaks every hour for each class during morning work cycles.

11:00 Prep work and lessons for lunch preparation. Student lunch preparations. Followed by Lunch.
12:00-12:30 Outdoor work and recreation.
12:30 – 3:00 Afternoon work session which will include: Outdoor science, Individual academic work choices, music and art.
3:00-3:30 Teacher-led reading and dismissal preparation.
3:30 After-school activity participants are directed to the appropriate room
